The felt manufacturers tell us that when storing wool felt, we should choose a cool and ventilated place, so what should we pay attention to when cleaning?
Because it is not resistant to alkali, neutral detergent without enzymes should be used for washing, so we should try to use special wool detergent. If you use a washing machine to wash, you should use a drum washing machine and choose a gentle program; but if it is hand-washed, rub it gently as much as possible instead of using a washboard. Thirdly, use squeeze washing, avoid twisting, squeeze to remove water, spread it out in the shade, or fold it in half and hang it in the shade; when it is wet or semi-dry, it can remove wrinkles and avoid exposure to the sun.
In addition, if it is contaminated with local light stains, you can try to dip a towel in a neutral laundry detergent, or use a special detergent aqueous solution for silk and wool to gently wipe the matte surface.
